A long boring text post about summer.
I’ve been thinking about a little sub-conscience goal list that I’ve been trying to tackle this summer, so far I’ve made some pretty decent strides.
1. I’ve gotten quite the lovely lady.
2. I’ve made a couple paintings, not as many as I’d like, but it’s certainly been an upgrade.
3. and I met Amy Jo.
4. I started doing my own original photography, and turning it into more of a familiar art.
Those were 4 goals of many that I set for myself this summer, those are 4 goals that I’ve at least started if not completed, not too bad. Now here’s a few more I’d like to attempt.
5. This one’s tough, but I want to make a movie. At least one. A decent one. My heart still lies in moviemaking, but it’s very difficult for me to just jump right back in.
6. Continue photography, and eventually have it be just as important to me as my paintings.
7. Read. I’ve actually gotten fairly close to finishing the first book I’ve read since High School. Harry Potter, no big feat of course.. but, if you have the attention span of a fly, baby steps are nice.
8. Adventure. I’ve done a bit. But, I want to see more of the world. I’ve saved a good amount of money, and I really need to do more.
9. Blog more. I’m more of a current events type, trying not to dwell on past too much, but I think it would be fun if I started making my blog a bit more well rounded and funner to read if you don’t know me personally.
Overall, so far it’s been a fun summer, a lot of great friends, times, and music. A lot of art and new ideas. Tumblr is helping greatly, and I would love to see this summer continue to be awesome.
